I was fortunate enough to have my table at the Jourdanton, TX gun show right next to Roland from Survivor FireStarters to get introduced to the Flash Tray. The company is a Texas based company that hand makes all its products and puts 100% focus on the customer.

While I am no stranger to what the power of the sun can do I have to admit I was simply amazed at how such a simple device to harness so much heat, concentrated it so precisely and get materials to burn SO QUICKLY!
Granted, we were in South Central Texas but it was the end of September and the sun didn’t feel particularly hot that day.

This is just a simple video yet it’s all you need to believe what you see – no camera tricks, it works just that simple.
The focal point is easily visible as you are using it, meaning that pointing it properly is a piece of cake. Hopefully you can see the ‘bright spot’ in the videos.
